“ I recently visited Lockhart Smokehouse in Plano while in town for a training event, and I have to say, it was a 5-star experience all around! Make sure you're hungry! The ambiance is perfect for a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere. The food was absolutely outstanding - the smoked meats were tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I especially loved the brisket and sausage - they were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure our group had everything we needed. If you're in town and craving some top-notch BBQLockhart Smokehouse is a must-visit if. There's plenty of street parking and a parking structure nearby. And plenty of shops are around so that you can walk off your food coma. Can't wait to go back! ”
“ Was recommended to come here for some Texas barbecue. The menu is actually pretty limited, but everything I tried was excellent. I had the brisket, which was a little fatty for my liking, but once I cut off the fat I didn't want, the crust was awesome and the sauce provided was so tasty. I also got the deviled eggs (not my fave) and the spicy mac & cheese (so good, and definitely southern spicy!). Also, lucky for me, Big Red is in the fountain machine here as well. If you're looking for some no frills BBQ, this is the place for you! ”

“ Visiting from California and took the grandkids bowling and to see a movie in Plano today. Found a BBQ place that had good reviews. As we walked in the lady knew we had never been there before. She was very nice and explained everything. So you order by the pound and order what sides you want. You eat in paper no plates. They have an upstairs and downstairs. Really cute little place with a family vibe. We had brisket and ribs. The sides were beans, potato salad, and Mac n cheese. Everything was so good. ”
